I miss you my Sweet Honey

Every time I come here to blog a new post; I see my lovely Honey... Still sitting at the corner of my room, looking at me while I'm taking a photo of the magazine...
I was happy that day... I was happy to be published...
I was happy; my sweet Honey Bunny was still with me...
So here... In this little corner of this blog world; my sweetie still lives and looks at me...
Here she continues to sit by the door, breathe, get bored, petted by Derin, look at her mama, wonder, and just live another ordinary day...

Now you know; why I haven't been here...

I'm so happy and honored to tell you that I'll be teaching a shadow box workshop in a lovely place called Tangerine in Dublin, CA.

Welcome spring With Nily's little 
vintage bird shadow box

Come celebrate spring and create a delicate shadow box made with vintage ephemera and found objects.  

In this class, I will also be doing a paper clay tutorial.  

A class kit will be included and will contain one of my birds to embellish.  

Students are welcome to bring personal items to place in the shadow box if they would like.  

All skill levels welcome.  

The fee is 65.00.  

 Limit 10 students.

Keeping myself busy...

Sad News

My heart is in so much pain...

It's been ten days since we said goodbye. 

I'm still having hard time starting each morning without my boy, Pasha...

Hope he's in a better place playing his favorite game 'fetch'

or swimming in a beautiful lake...

oh and I hope he's drinking ice cold water from fountains...

He was a gift to us...

He made me a better person during our time together for 15 years...

He left beautiful memories to remember...

But missing him everyday is something I have to learn without him...

Which is so, sooo hard...

Now I know...

This blogging business is not my forte!

Everyday, {I mean every-daaaay}I tell myself to come here and type something...

But it seems like; hubby, girls, doggies, brushes, paints and life grabs me more and more...

No complains but I'll try better...

I've been working on this beautiful book for a charity called Bridge to Turkiye.

Bridge to Türkiye Fund is devoted to mobilizing and generating philanthropic resources benefiting the socio-economically disadvantaged segments of Turkish society, with emphasis in children’s education and health care.

This book is created in less than a month and already in Blurb's bookstore now.

When you buy this book; you'll be helping the kids in Van who survived a devastating earthquake in Turkey.

Afternoon light by my girl...

This wonderful photograph is taken by my sweet five year old daughter...

I didn't realize she took this until I uploaded the pictures to my computer...

I loved it! ~ like all mothers loving everything their kids do! :)

And it sure made me smile...

:)

Oh well...

I've just finished some beautiful pins and can't wait to share them with you...

Beauty of Passion Tea

Last week, when I was enjoying a cup of Passion tea, I saw the beautiful dried roses by the window.

Their lovely color matched perfect to my delicious cup-o-tea...

Then I found some old white fabric in a basket, along with some lace ribbons...

Hmm...

Ten minutes later, everything white around me turned this beautiful pink color.

I'm still dying some ribbons here... and I don't know when will I get bored!

If you have a white shirt on you, make sure you don't come too close to me...

:)
